Government of Delhi is now making plans to launch its new Documents for the citizens of the state. The name of these official documents is “Delhi Family Card” or “ Delhi Parivar Pehchan Card). By distributing these family cards to the citizens of the state, the government wants to ensure that the benefits of Welfare schemes run by the state and centre Government in the state of Delhi. In the state of Haryana, the Government already issue the Family Card to every family of the state. Now, like Haryana State, the Delhi Government is also making a plan to provide the Family Card to Each of the Family. This single Card can be used to avail the benefits of various welfare schemes of the Centre and Delhi Government.

Card Shape	The same card can be issued in the name of the head female of the family by adding her Mobile Linked Aadhaar Card.

Why Is This Delhi Family Card Going to Launch?

• The main motive for distributing these family cards to the families of the state is only to make citizens free to visit government offices. Now, using this Single Card, citizens can get welfare scheme benefits at only one place.
• In the Initial stage of the Card, the government don’t make it compulsory. But citizens can apply for this Card of their own will and can use it as per their need and to get benefits.
• This Card is a single card; using it, citizens can get benefits of every single scheme like Lakshmi Yojana, Lakhpati Bitiya Yojana or any other welfare scheme.

Requirement for the Family Card

• The Aadhaar Card Linked with the mobile number of the woman head of the Family.
• Ration card of the Family
• Aadhaar Card of each of the Family Members
• For adding the name, Birth Certificate or Marriage Certificate
• To remove the Name from the card, submit a death certificate
• For Correction need to submit the concerned proof
• All the other needed documents should be prepared in the name of the woman head of the family.

What Information is Available on Family Card in Delhi?

• As per the information we collected from the report is that the Family Pehchan Card can be issued in the name of the woman who is also the head of the Family. At the time of applying, documents must be prepared in the name of the head woman of the family, and then the rest of the family members must be added to the same Card.
• The Main documents which is required for the card are Aadhaar Card, linked with the other documents to maintain transparency.
• In this card, the details of the whole family with their Legal Name, Age, Relationship with the woman head and permanent address with occupation are available.
• From time to time, the card can also be updated with changes like adding new members after birth or marriage, removing the name after death, etc., or if there is any change of address, then also be changed to the new address.
• The whole data of the card can be linked with the Delhi Nagar Nigam, and by chance if there is any birth or death happen in the family, then after verification the information can be updated.
• Once the Family card launched in the state, the government will also provide access to citizens to check the details of the Card, update the details and apply by themselves.

No, yet not launched by the government. Because, as in the above paragraph, I already told you that government just make the plan to launch this card very soon.
