On 4th August 2026, the state government of Delhi came up with its new educational scheme for the students of Class 12th. This scheme is a coaching scheme which is known as the Delhi government JEE and NEET Coaching Scheme 2026. This scheme provides one year of free Coaching for JEE and NEET for 12th-class students who are studying the science stream.

Delhi Government JEE, NEET Coaching Scheme For Class 12th Students
Recently, the government of Delhi announced its new one-year scholarship scheme for the science students of the 12th class. In this scheme, all students who are studying science subjects in any government or government-aided school will be eligible to get free coaching under this scheme. By launching this scheme, the Delhi government is providing free facilities for the Free Coaching for the Engineering Entrance Examination known as JEE and the Medical Entrance Exam, i.e. NEET, along with free Food and Accommodation Facilities.

Not every student, but only the deserving students, will be selected for this scheme by conducting the JDST 2027. This scheme is implemented all over the state in collaboration with the Dakshana Foundation. Once the students are selected for this scheme, they have to undergo this free residential coaching for one year at the Campus of the Foundation in Maharashtra.
Here, during the time of residing for coaching, food, boarding, and lodging will be provided to every student at no cost.

Motive of Scheme
We all know that there are so many brilliant students available in government or government-aided schools who belong to poor families. How to Avail Benefits of Free Scholarship Scheme of JEE and NEET Delhi?
- If you are a student of the 12th class science stream, then apply in the academic session 2026-27 using the Dakshana Foundation Scholarship Official website.
- After submitting the form, there is a selection test, i.e., the Join Dakshana Selection Test (JDST), which will be conducted in the month of December 2026.
- After sitting in the exam, selection of the students will be made.

What’s the Eligibility For Students?
- This scheme is only available for 12th-class students who are students of the science stream.
- You must be studying in the government or government-aided schools of Delhi state for the academic session 2026-27.
- Have to appear in the Selection Test.
- Student’s family income for Male students is not more than Rs.3,00,000 per year, and for Female students and disabled persons is not more than Rs.5,00,000 per year.
Selection of Students
Every interested and eligible student has to undergo the selection process to get the benefits of the scheme.
- First need to apply through the help of the Dakshana Foundation Official Portal for Scholarship.
- Initially, the Foundation selects the candidates on a cut-off basis.
- Then have to practise with the mock test to know about the actual examination.
- The actual exam is going to be conducted in December 2026 at different examination centres.
- All the students who qualify the JDST Test will need to attend the interview round.
- Documentation verification will be done, and then finally selection will be made.
Delhi Free JEE and NEET Coaching Scheme Application Process
The government also issued a notification to all school officials to give the report or the list of the eligible students of their schools. Students can also get more information about the scheme by visiting their offices.
- Registration: Students need to complete their Initial Registration by visiting the Dakshana Official portal for scholarship.
- Shortlisted through Cut-Off: On the official portal automatically shortlisted according to their percentage in the 10th class Board exam.
- Fill Application Form: If you pass the cut-off session, then you have to fill the DSA, i.e., the Dakshana Scholarship application.
- Participate in Mock Test: It is compulsory for the students to participate in the online mock test.
- Appear in Exam: After all have to appear in the JDST Exam conducted in December 2026. While appearing in the exam, kindly bring your smartphone, because the exam will be conducted through its Official App.
- Interview and Verification: Then an interview will be conducted for the candidates who get high marks, and then verification of their documents will be conducted by the officials for selection.
